This Jobmaster chest boasts a range of features designed to enhance security and durability. The full-length piano hinge is staked and welded to deter break-in attempts, while the extra wide 6-foot width is perfect for storing longer items like transit legs and shovels. The seams are fully arc-welded, with added channels on the cover for increased strength. Formed ribs on the ends and front of the tool box provide additional reinforcement. The overlapping cover design offers weather protection and resistance to forcible entry.

The Watchman IV lock system utilizes a single padlock and a ½ inch diameter steel rod that slides on the inside of the box to securely latch each corner. The recessed single lock keeps pry bars, bolt cutters, and saws away from the lock shackle. The recessed cover handle allows for a secure grip without protruding from the box, making it easier to ship and stack without damage. The 3-inch high, 12-gauge steel skids raise the chest for easy fork lifting, with pre-punched skids for caster installation.
